Dear Mother #12 – Feb 2, 1927

This is the latest installment in a series of letters written by my grandfather Robert (born on Sept. 17, 1916) to his mother. If you are new, you will want to start with #1 or browse the archive.

In this letter Robert looked up some bible verses, notes the weather, and picks up a book.

Dear Mother,

You told me to look these verses. The first is:-

“Rejoycing in hope pateent in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer”

23 The next is: -

“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you”

24 “My love be with you in christ jesus.”

It is raining now.

I got “Penrod and Sam” out off Mill Losee’s school library;

I hope you will be home as soon as you can.

Your son
Robert
