Jan. 23, 1927
Dear Mother
We went to Sunday school to-day and Mr. Hamilton said that he was going to quit the ten cents a week and make it five.
It was a nice clear day and May and Mrs. Porter came by in Uncle Billies car and took us up to the golf links and Mrs. Porter keep talking about how wonderful it was.
We saw a lot of lambs up there. There are two flocks up in the park.
Mr. Porter, the man who took part in the Xmas play at the church is the chairman of our troop comittee and Mr. La Porte was there and he talked to us and showed some me new games at recess.
I wish you will be back up here pret soon. I got my garters yesterday but I didn’t cords yet.
Be back as soon as you can.
With love, your son
