Dear Mother #7 – Jan 27, 1927
This is the latest installment in a series of letters written by my grandfather Robert (born on Sept. 17, 1916) to his mother. If you are new, you will want to start with #1 or browse the archive.
This is a letter written by Robert’s older brother, Harry (born on Aug 7, 1913).
In this letter Harry writes mainly about school and playing inside.

Dear Mother,
We got your letters to-day and were glad to hear from you. You don’t need to write so many letters if it bothers you because we will write you anyway.
I got out at 10:10 this morning and we don’t have to go back till to-morrow afternoon. I might have Miss Camper next term. I hope I do because they say she is a better clas [clos? I can't read the handwriting for this word.] teacher than a geography teacher. I will have Mrs. Cameron or Mrs. Marks for Civics and I will have the same teachers for everything else except history and we don’t have that. Mrs Allen might have to take a H. 8 class this term unless Miss Reidel takes it.
It was rainy to-day so we couldn’t play outside when we got home but we had a lot of fun in the house. We are going to play cards for a while to spend the time. We eat about 5:30 every evening. I wish you will hurry up and come home.
Your Son,
Harry
